Ultra Relay

Inneans

In 2025, the 2 section relay format will have one changeover points at Southend. A 2-person team is therefore expected but if you are accustomed to running as a team of three, it is possible for two people to run together on one of the legs, the point to note being that they must stay together.

Details of the route from Machrihanish to Campbeltown will be available here
Relay teams are expected to organise their own transport. We anticipate relay runners being self sufficient but we can take a drop-bag to the intermediate checkpoint for you as well as a bag for the finish.

One timing chip will be issued per team and used as the baton. Each individual runner will carry a GPS tracker. Relay teams will have distinct numbers  e.g. 100+ so that non-running runners who go sightseeing or whizz around in cars will not cause alarm.

Entries open on 1st January. We will provide a bus from Campbeltown to Machrihanish in addition to the service bus. Please also mention dietary requirements for the refreshments (soup, burger, pastry and tea) at the end. If you have previously completed Tayinloan to Campbeltown and Tayinloan to Tarbert and would like to purchase a frame for your set of 3 coasters at the subsidised cost of £10, please add this to your order as well.

Closing date for entries is 20th April.

Price to be confirmed.

Within the courtyard at the Finish there will be free massage, food and drop bags. Your fan club and fellow team members can enjoy children’s entertainment while they are waiting and the prizegiving will be held here at 5 p.m.

Please also note, details will be being added and updated up until entries open so not all links will work immediately.
